Temperature conditions
In the warm season, normal room temperature is suitable, in winter - not lower than 15 ° C.
Lighting
In autumn and winter, place the pot with the plant as close to the light as possible; in summer, this palm tree must be shaded from direct sunlight.
Substrate
The optimal substrate contains turf soil, leaf humus and coarse sand to improve drainage.
Feeding
During the period of active growth, use complex fertilizers 2 times a month.
Air humidity
It tolerates the dry air of heated rooms quite well and does not need spraying. Can't stand cold drafts.
Soil moisture
Water deeply in the summer, but allow the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings. You can even leave the water in the tray for a day. In the cold season, reduce watering. Use only water at room temperature.
Transplant
In the spring. Adult specimens are replanted every 3 to 4 years. Young - every 2 years, until reaching maximum height, in larger pots.
Reproduction
Seeds sown in spring in a loose, moist substrate. Keep the crops warm and cover them with glass or a plastic cap to maintain humidity levels.
