Origin. Ecuador and southern Mexico.
Description. Weberocereus is an ornamental cactus with segmented or round, angular, or flattened stems. The areoles are small, weakly spineed or without spines at all. The flowers open at night, funnel-shaped, mostly white, sometimes with a pinkish or yellowish tint, up to 6 - 8 cm in diameter. Flower tube with sparse spines.

Temperature conditions
During the growing season, normal room temperature is suitable; in winter it is reduced to 10 - 12° C.
Lighting
A brightly lit area with some direct sunlight.
Care
An unassuming and at the same time very impressive plant, even when not blooming.
Substrate
Standard cactus mix with coarse sand and perlite for best drainage. Lightweight, gas and water permeable.
Feeding
Monthly with liquid fertilizers at half concentration during the growing season.
Purpose
Rarely found, suitable for collectors and lovers of curiosities. Looks great in a hanging basket.

It tolerates dry living quarters well; spray to prevent spider mite infestations.
